GT5 Prologue Update Coming

This Friday, August 1st, Sony and Polyphony Digital will unleash the latest update to Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. The biggest addition to the game will be the full unveiling of Gran Turismo TV, the in-game automotive programming network. Featuring both syndicated and original content, GTTV will offer gamers a host of programs dedicated to nothing but cars and racing.

As a cool introductory deal, all of the pay-per-view content on Gran Turismo TV will be available for the discounted price of $0.99 for the first two weeks, so get 'em while they're hot. The current programming listing for Gran Turismo TV can be found right here, and will be updated as new shows are added.

In addition to GTTV, the update will also include a handful of tweaks, including improved penalty judgments, improved physics during collision between cars during online races, more tire choices for Time Trials and a bit more.
